Documentary films over 40 minutes in length. Filmed entirely in the USA.
International Documentaries
Documentary features over 40 minutes that have been filmed partially or fully outside the USA.
USA Shorts
Short films of 40 minutes or less, filmed entirely in the USA.
International Shorts
Short film of 40 minutes in length or less, filmed partially or fully outside the USA.
USA Documentary Shorts
Documentary Short films of 40 minutes in length or less, filmed partially or fully outside the USA.
International Documentary Shorts
Documentary Short films of 40 minutes in length or less, filmed partially or fully outside the USA.
Animated Shorts
Animated Short films of 40 minutes in length or less, filmed partially or fully outside the USA.


MISSION & OBJECTIVE
To show off the HD capabilities at the Fine Arts Theatre and to give filmmakers an additional opportunity to screen in High Definition in Beverly Hills.

GENERAL RULES
Films will be screened at the Fine Arts Theatre in Beverly Hills, CA, USA.


Most screenings will be projected with the in house Christie 2K Digital Cinema Projector.

Selected screenings will be projected with the in house HD DLP projector.


Films will be screened on the following formats:

HDCAM
HD-DVD
HDV

Sound formats:

Lt/Rt

Dolby E

All Short Films and Features will screen one time only. A maximum of 20 Features and 125 Short films for competition are planned. The Beverly Hills Hi-Def Film Fest reserves the right to change the number of films screened.

Prizes are redeemable through August 2007. Selected dates are unavailable. Once the prize date and time are chosen, the date and time cannot be changed. Short film prizes will be completed by 6pm. All prizes include access time till final exit. Any additional time used will be charged at the regular rate.

Food or drinks may be brought into the theatre for an additional charge. Alcohol may be served, only if the proper insurance is obtained or is served by Bartendergirl.com.
NO SCREENERS WILL BE RETURNED!
